On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the rooms from 10.30 am. It is possible to leave your luggage at the hotel.

The charming village of Herbriggen, at 1254 meters above sea level, is located in the picturesque Mattertal valley on the right bank of the Matter Vispa. It belongs to the municipality of St. Niklaus in the district of Visp.
Thanks to its convenient location on the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway line and the direct road connection from Visp via Stalden to Zermatt, popular excursion destinations such as car-free Zermatt (by train from Täsch) and Saas Fee are just a short drive away.
Herbriggen ist gut erreichbar: Mit dem Auto folgen Sie der A9 Richtung Brig und nehmen die Ausfahrt Visp, dann Richtung Zermatt bis Herbriggen. Es stehen gratis Parkplätze vor dem Hotel zur Verfügung.
Der Bahnhof Herbriggen ist nur wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel Bergfreund entfernt, ideal für Zugreisende.
